Who We Are
A decade of peptide chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, now built into a manufacturing company.
Amidera's high-shear platform comes out of Professor Mattan Hurevich's laboratory, with Professor Chaim Gilon among its co-inventors. It is licensed through Yissum and protected by three patent families.
We make complex peptide APIs through a CMO-enabled model, without the capital cost of building plants. Alongside it, the Amidera Exchange connects prescribers and compounding pharmacies.

Aviram Amit
Founder & CEO
Chemical engineer, entrepreneur and life-science business executive with more than 15 years of experience in business development, commercialisation and strategic partnerships. He has been involved in the establishment, development and support of technology ventures, working across early-stage company building, market development and commercial strategy.
Dr. Israel Alshanski
CTO
PhD chemist and process engineer with experience spanning peptide synthesis, reaction engineering, reactor development and process optimisation. His work combines synthetic chemistry with practical engineering, including the development of high-shear reactor systems and peptide manufacturing processes.
Prof. Mattan Hurevich
Scientific Advisor & Inventor
Professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem whose research focuses on peptide and glycopeptide chemistry, solid-phase synthesis and complex modified peptides. He has led more than a decade of research into high-shear synthesis and is a lead inventor behind the underlying HSPS technology.
Prof. Chaim Gilon
Scientific Advisor & Inventor
Professor Emeritus at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a highly experienced peptide chemist with decades of research in peptide synthesis and peptide science. He is a co-inventor of the foundational HSPS technology and has contributed extensively to the development of peptide chemistry at the Hebrew University.
